Open April to October, The Himalayan Garden and Sculpture Park is 45 acres of woodlands, gardens and an arboretum with many outstanding sculptures.

What are the highlights of the Himalayan Gardens and Sculpture Park?
The highlights of the Himalayan Garden an Sculpture Park are: 

  • It is home to over 20,000 plants, including what’s considered the North’s largest collection of rhododendrons, azaleas and magnolias. 
  • Over 80 contemporary sculptures are dotted around the park, carefully chosen to enhance the surrounding environment.
  • An 80 square metre sculpture by Anna Whitehouse  made from 1,300 ceramic Meconopsis poppies which cascades down a hillside in the garden.
  • The landscape comprises of a beautiful valley providing with an arboretum and 3 beautiful lakes.
  • Early season interest with drifts of bulbs.
  • Lakeside Pagoda beside the floating Magnolia sculpture.
  • Series of events throughout the year.

 All entry tickets must be prebooked from the website and opening days vary.
