UPDATE 5 November - There are likely to be great displays of Autumn Colours around the UK in the next 2 weeks. The native trees are now starting to turn in Wododland and Landscape Gardens such as Stourhead and Sheffield Park.

View our live colour chart below to see how the colours are likely to change.

The best time to see Autumn colours is from around mid October to mid November but much will depend on whether or not there is an Indian Summer. Acers and maples turn colour first and you will normally have to wait a couple of weeks before Native trees turn. It is probably best to phone before travelling distances. You might also want to take a short break and our guide features places to stay near your destinations.
