The amazing Garden at Aston Pottery is a Kaleidoscope of colour from Mid June onwards. The Annual Border with over 6500 plants grown on site (as featured on BBC Gardeners World), plus the 'Hot Border Bank'
The most innovative garden borders in Oxfordshire. The gardens were established 15 years ago. Flowering from June to the first frosts.
The most stunning borders - we have carefully selected our choice of plants to maintain the vibrancy and longevity of our borders throughout the summer months and into Autumn.
Each border has its own distinct character and range of plants which have been fine tuned to suit the growing conditions. This allows the plants to govern where they are best suited and allows for some very individual borders.
Plant highlights include over 130 different dahlias, 6,500 annuals all in one border, a sea of kniphofia, erasmus lilies and lobelia tupa, a perennial border with over 15 different asters and a tropical border full of cannas and Ricinus.
The Hot Bank. At 14 meters deep and 75 meters long, one of the most original and dramatic borders you will see. Flowering from mid June.
Hornbeam Walkway. 60 pleached Hornbeam trees, underplanted with stunning perennials.

Free to visit with car park on site.
Free paper guides to the gardens.
Garden Tours are available – pre-booking essential. £6.95 per person.
Café serving delicious homemade scones, cakes and quiches and filled rolls.
A Gift Shop full of our handmade and hand decorated pottery.
Open daily - Monday to Saturday 9.30am – 5pm and Sunday 10.30am - 5pm Dogs are welcome in the gardens on a lead.
Paths are grassed or gravel. Disabled toilet.
