Gardens to visit in Oxfordshire
On the eastern fringe of the Cotswolds, Oxfordshire has a good selection of historic houses open to the public and gardens that you can visit. Oxford is a good base with the well known Oxford University Botanic Garden which houses a vast plant collection.
You can also visit William Kent's masterpiece at Rousham Park, which is very much as he designed it.
Another of our favourites is Buscot Park with canals by Harold Peto.
Oxfordshire is also well known for its pretty villages and houses so make sure you spend more than a day out here in this beautiful county.
