Mount Ephraim Country House & Gardens, near Faversham, Kent is a privately owned family home set on more than 800 acres of woodland, pasture and a fruit farm.

• At the heart of the estate lies the main house and 10 acres of enchanting Edwardian gardens where terraces of fragrant roses lead to a small lake and woodland area overlooking orchards.
• Mount Ephraim's Miz Maze, based on a medieval labyrinth, is planted with ornamental grasses and herbaceous perennials, creating a "Catherine Wheel" of contrasting colors.
• In addition, there's a Japanese Rock Garden and Water Garden and some elaborate and unusual topiary sculpted into a collection of birds, animals and First World War memorabilia.
• The estate has been owned by the Dawes family since 1695 and is still run by the family today. Indeed, it's their personal touch that gives Mount Ephraim Gardens such a special charm.

Accommodation - Visitors can now stay over in the West Wing B&B in the main house. With five double ensuite rooms to choose from, each individually decorated and with wonderful views, guests can enjoy unlimited access to the gardens during their stay.
