Easton Lodge Garden

Easton Lodge Garden

The Gardens are a tranquil haven with a fascinating history, including designs by Harold Peto!

The Gardens of Easton Lodge showcase Harold Peto's Edwardian designs: his Italian Garden and reconstructed treehouse; and the walled kitchen garden is now productive again.

Volunteers maintain and restore the Gardens and open them to the public on Thursdays from April to end October,  9 Open Days a year and for pre-arranged Group Visits.

Guided tours and fascinating archives are available to provide insight into the history of the Gardens and their most famous owner, the Countess of Warwick: socialite; mistress of Edward Prince of Wales before he came to the throne; and philanthroper/socialist. The Gardens also have memorials and stories to commemorate the men and women who lived on the Estate and flew from the Airfield in World War II.

The restoration is on-going and each year there is something new to see.  There are also activities for children on Open Days.
