Ickworth Park Gardens, near Bury St Edmunds
This interesting and unusual house at Ickworth is surrounded by a great Park with lovely gardens. The historic house is open.
The Historic Ickworth House Park and Garden in Suffolk, is hidden among the trees boasts a collection of hexagonal stones from the Giants Causeway and Victorian stumpery. There is a fine herbaceous border with boldly coloured plants.
The park contains some of the best examples of ancient specimen trees including oak, beech and hornbeam.
