Snowdrops in the Cotswolds this weekend

Snowdrops are out much earlier than previous years and there will be good displays over the coming weeks in the Cotswolds
We recommend a number of places to see them starting with......

  • Batsford Arboretum in Gloucestershire - you will not only see snowdrops, but also a wide range of flowering plants including Daphnes, Witch Hazels, Mahonias, Daffodils and much more. There is a great visitor centre, restaurant and garden centre. More details of Batsford Arboretum here.

  • Colesbourne Park near Cirencester - Surely one of the best paces to see Snowdrops in the British Isles. Masses of snowdrops throughout the park and by the deep blue lake. You will also see many different varieties and be able to buy some to add to your collection. Refreshments are available. More details of Colrsbourne Park - click here

  • Painswick Rococo Gardens in Gloucestershire - A beautiful garden on the Cotswold Escarpment in the delightful small town of Painswick. There are mass displays of snowdrops along trails amongst the woods and lovely views over the Cotswolds. Teas and light lunches are served. More details of Painswick Rococo Garden here.
