This charming early 16th century house near Tenterden also has a beautiful cottage garden. A wonderful place to visit. The Manor House once owned by renowned Victorian actress, Ellen Terry is also open.
Smallhythe Place is a historic early 16th century house once owned by renowned Victorian actress, Ellen Terry. After her death her daughter Edith changed the house to a museum and the Barn has been transformed to a small theatre which stages plays throughout the year.
To the side of the cottage is a wonderful traditional cottage garden, and a path then leads to the nearby church.
