Discover the Bath Botanical Gardens which were created within the Royal Victoria Park in 1887. The gardens feature one of the finest collections of limestone loving plants.

The gardens are less than a mile from the City Centre in the northwest corner of Royal Victoria Park. There is a good selection of trees, shrubs, a fine herbaceous border, a rock garden and pool. You will also find a collection of old shrub roses, and a replica of a Roman temple which was the city's exhibit at the British Empire Exhibition held at Wembley in 1924.
A disused quarry and formerly part of the park itself and has been created into a woodland garden.
