Langley Park Gardens - 3 acres of mixed herbaceous planting within 4 walled gardens, set amongst 27 acres of policies, in the grounds of the historic Langley Park House, dating from the early 18th century. There are ponds and a fountain, meadow walks, standing stone, wildlife pond, and large heritage trees. The house and gardens had lain empty for many years, until restoration started in 2001.
Wildlife is high on our agenda, Butterfly's and Bees thrive on the many flowers, we have dozens of bird boxes which are well used by the many species that visit us. It is a pleasure to watch the swallows darting over the 20 acre wildflower meadow, catching the many insects, and at dusk the Barn owls quartering the field searching for mice and voles.
