Greenway House & Gardens, near Brixham

Greenway House and Gardens were once the family home of Agatha Christie.

Greenway House and Garden, the former home of the famous crime writer Agatha Christie, is surrounded by a woodland garden, possibly influenced by Repton, on the banks of the Dart Estuary in Devon.
It is noted for rare half-hardy plants under planted with native wild flowers, Greenway has an atmosphere of wildness and timelessness.
There is a notable collection of camellias from around December to April. There is a small Walled Garden but this comprises mainly of lawn and a greenhouse but currently sparsley planted.

The house, set in the 1950s, contains many of the family's furnishings and includes collections of botanical china, silver and more.
The garden can be reached from Dartmouth by public river boat.
