A look back to our Garden Visits in 2023!
We share with you the Gardens we visited on our Norflok Tour in 2023!
In mid June we took a trip to Norfolk via Suffolk, the weather was hot and sunny in that month before the weather turned in July.
The first garden we visited was Fullers Mill, an enchanting and tranquil seven-acre creation on the banks of the River Lark. It combines a beautiful light dappled woodland with a plantsman's collection of unusual shrubs, perennials, lilies and marginal plants. It is a garden of truly year-round interest. The Garden is run by 'Perennial' – the only UK charity that helps anyone working with plants, trees, flowers and grass – for its long-term preservation.
We visited the amazing Bressingham Gardens late in the afternoon. The Dell Garden was created by the late Alan Bloom and is famous for its Island Beds of perennials whilst Alan’s son Adrian began a completely different garden nearby, Foggy Bottom, which became equally renowned for its year round interest.
The garden is good for visiting all year round and not to be missed.
