Spring at Westonbirt Arboretum

Today Camellias, Rhododendrons and early Magnolias take centre stage at Westonbirt Arboretum - View our gallery.

Earlier today we visited  the Silk Glade at Westonbirt Arboretum and enjoyed the colours of Spring.
Westonbirt the National Arboretum has over 18,000 trees from all over the world, planted since 1829 and plantings continue today.
There are 17 miles of way-marked trails.

The Arboretum is in 2 areas
1 - The Old Arboretum - No dogs
2 - Silk Wood - Dogs allowed off lead.

There is a cafe, with inside and outside seating areas and a great gift shop.

In late April and early May it is Bluebell time with beautiful and extensive displays in Silk Wood.
