WHEN & WHERE?
A really good time to visit a garden is on a beautiful evening or morning.
The colours appear more vivid. and the scents from roses, shrubs and scented plants more intense. It is also generally a much more peaceful time.
We feature a selection of gardens which will be opening their gates during the evening this summer.
Mottisfont Abbey - Hampshire - Famous for its Rose display set within a walled garden.
Fabulous scents from old fashioned roses trail walls, pergolas, arches and abound everywhere. Other plants intermingle giving a fantastic picture of intense colours.

Nymans Gardens - Sussex - Nymans Garden, in Sussex is one of the National Trusts most beautiful gardens. In the late 1800's Ludwig Messel bought the Nymans Estate in the Sussex High Weald to make a dream family home.

Denmans Garden - Sussex - The Garden is a great contemporary garden originally designed by the late John Brookes who was famous for his book 'The Small Garden'

Biddulph Grange – Staffordshire - The gardens at Biddulph Grange are perhaps one of the most exciting and unusual gardens in England. Visitors are taken on a miniature tour of the world including China, Egypt and a Scottish Glen.
